Based on your knowledge and experience, can you drive this colossus almost blindly? Can you not finish your day without doing an overall maintenance check? Do you have a healthy dose of practical insight and do you tackle things hands-on? Do you have a B driving licence, a VCA certificate and at least 3 years of relevant experience? Are you a positive, assertive, motivated team player who likes to take initiative? Then this job is definitely for you! As an operator of our asphalt machines, you are responsible for operating and steering the asphalt machine. You adjust the machine's working speed to suit the job and identify unsafe situations in good time. If your work stops, you lend a hand to your teammates. You work together with a motivated and dynamic team, mainly in the wide region of Belgian and Dutch Limburg. With the team, you discuss the work plan for each assignment and strive for the most efficient approach. You report the progress and quality of the work to the manager. Together, you are active in asphalting roads, roundabouts, company premises, car parks, but also in carrying out road repairs. As an operator, you take care of your own equipment and are responsible for preparing the asphalt machine for operation and its daily maintenance. You identify and repair machine faults in good time.
