Aluminium Builder for Superyachts
 
We are looking for a motivated and skilled Aluminium Builder with experience in the construction of superyachts. You will be responsible for assembling aluminium sections and structures according to strict quality and dimensional standards, contributing to the creation of high-end, luxury vessels.
 
About the Job
As an aluminium yacht builder, your tasks will include: 

* Tack welding aluminium components to create sections of the yacht hull and superstructure 
* Building various structural parts, such as: 
o Hull plating and reinforcement structures (frames, bulkheads, stringers) 
o Superstructure elements (deckhouses, roofs, flybridges) 
o Internal aluminium parts (floor supports, technical spaces, engine room frames) 
* Working from technical drawings, with preference for candidates who can interpret 3D models (e.g., Tekla, Rhino, or ShipConstructor) 
* Aligning and fitting components according to tolerances and welding preparations 
* Collaborating closely with foremen, welders, and other builders in a team-oriented environment
 
Requirements 
* Proven experience in aluminium construction, preferably in the yacht building or shipbuilding industry 
* Solid understanding of basic MIG welding for aluminium (Level 1) – only tack welding required (not full welds) 
* Ability to read and interpret 2D technical drawings, and ideally basic understanding of 3D modeling 
* Experience with shipyard practices and working in large aluminium sections 
* Valid VCA certificate, or willingness to obtain one within 4 weeks 
* Proficiency in English
