Panel Building involves designing, assembling, testing, and installing electrical switch panels, control panels, and distribution boards. These panels are the core of electrical installations and are essential for the safe and efficient control of machines and processes. Tasks of a Panel Builder:
Mechanical Work: Drilling, tapping, punching, and other modifications to the enclosures and profiles of the panels.
Component Assembly: Installing switches, relays, fuses, meters, PLCs, and other components in the panels.
Wiring: Connecting components according to electrical diagrams and specifications.
Testing and Inspection: Performing checks and tests to ensure the panel functions correctly.
Mechanical Processing: Making holes, threading screw holes, and other mechanical tasks for mounting components and connecting wiring.
Reading Schematics: Interpreting and using electrical diagrams and technical drawings to build the panels.
Troubleshooting: Identifying and fixing faults and defects during assembly or after installation.
