All-round Groundworker / Tire Crane Operator
We are seeking motivated individuals to join our Civil Engineering team, specializing in soil, road, and hydraulic engineering. We are looking for both entry-level groundworkers eager to learn and experienced crane operators.
About the Role:
While a groundworker and a crane operator have distinct roles, their tasks are often complementary. This position offers significant opportunities for growth and specialization within the civil engineering field.
Key Responsibilities (depending on experience level):
Novice Groundworker: Assist with manual and support tasks for excavators, including filling trenches and ditches.
Growing Groundworker: Progress to more responsible tasks, such as laying out excavation lines, setting up and adjusting lasers for exact depth determination, and potentially working with wellpoint dewatering in high groundwater conditions.
Qualified Groundworker: Independently connect PVC sewer systems, lay and drive underground cables using a compressor, install street drains, and compact previously dug trenches.
Advanced Groundworker: Install concrete sewerage, independently set out lines and heights for planned paving, and operate excavators to create optimal surfaces for road pavers or asphalt pavers.
All-round Groundworker: Perform specialized tasks like installing sheet piling, with opportunities for further specialization based on market needs and personal interests.
What We Offer:
*Competitive Salary:
Novice Groundworker: €2,100 - €2,300 gross per month.
Growing Groundworker: €2,300 - €2,600 gross per month.
Qualified Groundworker: €2,500 - €2,800 gross per month.
Specialized Groundworker: Up to €3,000 gross per month.
All-round Groundworker: Up to €3,200 gross per month.
Entry-level Crane Operators: Around €2,300 - €2,500 gross per month.
Highly Experienced Crane Operators: €2,800 - €3,300 gross per month.
*Rapid Advancement: Opportunities to quickly progress and specialize, leading to higher earning potential.
*Training & Development: Support for additional training and certifications (e.g., VCA certificate, working with lasers, groundwater management, sewer systems, cable technology).
*Versatile and Challenging Work: The groundwork profession offers a diverse range of tasks beyond just manual digging.
*Outdoor Work: Enjoy working outdoors in a dynamic environment.
Requirements:
For Groundworkers:
*Motivation and willingness to learn.
*Ability to take on a variety of tasks.
*A VCA certificate is desirable.
For Crane Operators:
*Strong understanding of all basic skills required for all-around groundwork (or willingness to start as a groundworker).
*Experience with mini excavators is a plus.
*If you have extensive experience with a tire crane, please specify your expertise.
General:
*Effective collaboration skills.
*Physical aptitude for demanding tasks.
