Job Description
As a Truck Mechanic, you are responsible for the maintenance, repair, and inspection of trucks, ensuring they remain safe, reliable, and roadworthy. You will diagnose technical issues, perform repairs, and carry out periodic maintenance.
In addition, you will participate in building and preparing new trucks for delivery. Based on customer requirements, you will equip vehicles with accessories such as lighting systems, camera systems, and air horns.
 
Key responsibilities
Maintenance and repair of Scania trucks and other brands
Performing diagnostics using modern tools (including SDP3)
Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
Preparing and carrying out inspections and APK checks (if certified)
Actively contributing ideas to improve work processes
 
What we expect from you
Completed MBO-level education in Automotive Engineering, Mobility, or a similar field
Proven experience as a truck mechanic (required)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Driving license B (license C is a plus)
Interest in Scania vehicles
Good command of Dutch or English
