We are looking for a skilled Metal Preservation Specialist / Structural Painter to protect steel and metal bridge structures against corrosion, rust, and weather damage. 
This role is vital for the safety and longevity of infrastructure.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare steel surfaces by removing old paint, rust, and dirt using grit blasting, sanding, brushing, or multitools.
Apply protective coatings (primer, intermediate coat, topcoat) using manual techniques (roller/brush).
Inspect and control coating thickness and adhesion.
Perform on-site preservation and maintenance of bridges, railings, and other structures.
Encapsulate bridge sections in temporary tents to prevent environmental contamination from dust or paint spray.
 
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience as a structural painter, metal preservation specialist, or grit blaster.
Knowledge of coating systems and preservation techniques.
Safety-conscious, experienced in working at heights and using protective equipment.
Relevant certifications (e.g., VCA basic) are a plus.
