Job description
Your work takes place on brand new trucks that are converted within our Production department and you will receive technical support from the Application Engineering department. You are able to install systems based on the diagrams and parts lists (electronics/pneumatics/hydraulics) devised by our engineers. Your ideas and feedback about how this can best be incorporated will then be incorporated into work instructions for future orders.
The modifications are often an integral part of the basic vehicle and affect the functionality of, among other things, very advanced braking, suspension and/or steering systems of the truck. In addition, we offer the European bodybuilding industry programmed parameter sets and various input and output signals that are required for the correct and safe operation of their bodywork. This communication between truck, modification and superstructure is set up by you in hardware, electronically and digitally (including J1939 CANbus). To this end, you install specific parameters and/or software adjustments in the vehicle using your own laptop.
Work is now underway on electrically powered trucks. Modifications of and interfaces with these high-voltage systems are also part of your work area.
