As a warehouse employee, you contribute to a flawless logistics process. You will start in the order picking department and then progress to other departments. Think about:
The shipping department: In this department you and your colleagues are responsible for loading the trucks that will deliver our products to our customers.
The inbound department: Here you are responsible for unloading incoming freight and all matters that come with it.
The inventory management department: In the inventory management department you ensure that the stocks in our warehouse are correct and you are responsible for the quick turnaround of our products.
The fresh department: In this department you will learn everything about our fresh products! From bananas to durians, you are aware of the quality we have to deliver to our customers and contribute to a smoothly running process.
The reach truck department: As a reach truck driver you have a great sense of responsibility and organizing the warehouse is your number one priority. No certificate yet? We take care of this for you!
Once you have mastered all the activities within our warehouse, you will have the opportunity to progress to the position of all-round warehouse employee!
As a warehouse employee you are available for at least 32 hours. At Asia Express Food we work a two-shift system where you work from 5:30 AM to 2:15 PM and from 2:30 PM to 12:15 AM. It is important that you are also available on Saturdays and/or Sundays, because we really need you on these busy days! If you work on Saturdays you will receive a supplement on top of your salary of 50% and if you work on Sundays you will receive a supplement on top of your salary of 100%. A great opportunity to earn a lot of extra money during the weekend.
We ask:
Proficiency in the Dutch and/or English language, spoken and written;
Experience with various warehouse activities is an advantage;
Flexibility: you are open to a two-shift schedule;
Sense of responsibility for the entire logistics process.
