As a preprocessor, your responsibility is to ensure that graphite blocks are accurately cut to size according to drawings.

What are your main responsibilities? The Mechanical Machining Department (MBA) is responsible for manufacturing customer-specific graphite products using CNC machines based on the copy exact principle, applying to both geometric and visual aspects. As a preprocessor, you stand at the forefront of the production process and serve as the first link. Other responsibilities include: Cutting large graphite blocks into slices Calling up programs in the work center; setting up the machine Independently operating the sawing machines at the work centers Generating and interpreting reports Collaboratively establishing standard processing methods to deliver the right product The role requires your availability in a 2-shift system: Morning shift: from 6:00 to 14:45 Afternoon shift: from 14:45 to 00:00 On Friday evenings, you work from 14:30 to 20:45. 
What are your skills? For this position, it's essential to be results-oriented, customer-focused, and quality-conscious. You should be open to new programming and machining techniques. Other necessary skills include: A vocational or lower vocational education; basic machining, woodworking, or a similar field Knowledge of machining tools/experience with sawing machines Proficiency in English or Dutch At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, such as woodworking Lastly, you should align with the core competencies of Innovation, Collaboration, and Customer Focus.
