We are looking for a technician to join the termination department of a technical production company in the Rotterdam area. The work involves assembling, soldering and finishing cable systems based on technical drawings. If you have experience as a panel builder or electrical technician, this job should be a perfect match for your skill set.
Job Description
As a Termination Technician, your primary task is the mechanical and electrical assembly of complex cable systems. You’ll be responsible for:
• Terminating multi-core and armored cables according to technical drawings
• Soldering, crimping, and installing connectors and components
• Working with precision tools to perform accurate and clean finishing
• Testing and troubleshooting completed assemblies when necessary
• Collaborating with other departments (engineering, testing, QA) to ensure quality standards
This work requires patience, focus, and technical ability. Mistakes can be costly, so experience and responsibility are essential.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for candidates who:
• Have experience in panel building, fine electrical assembly, or cable harnessing
• Are skilled in reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Can solder, crimp, and assemble components with precision
• Can communicate in English at a basic technical level
• Are motivated to work in a structured and high-standard environment
• Can work independently and as part of a team

Many of the tasks involved in this position are very similar to panel building. Candidates with experience in assembling control panels or electrical cabinets; especially those who can work from drawings and wiring plans; are usually a strong match and pick up the work quickly after a short training period.
