Machine Operator
Are you passionate about wood work? Join our close-knit team at a modern transport case production company! You’ll be welcomed by a friendly team, the smell of wood, and the whirring of machines. Your primary task is machine activities. Employee assists with or controls the following machines in a safe and responsible manner: woodworking equipment such as panel saws, planers and crosscut saws. If you have a lot of experience, you may be trusted with more advanced tasks and your salary may go up. It is essential that you are able to read technical drawings.
 
What You'll Do as a Machine operator:
Machining wood and sheet metal using tools and machines in a safe and responsible manner
Properly using various tools used in the Wood department
Guarding the dimensions
Inspect wooden parts for quality and dimensional accuracy during and after production
Identify and correct any discrepancies or defects
Operating the machines for machining wood
Strictly follow (safety) instructions for a secure work environment.
 
One shift:
07:30 – 16:30
 
Job benefits
Salary: €16,38 brutto / hour. Possible to work over time and Saturdays.
Full-time job in a modern company with English-speaking team.
Possibility of a direct contract with the company.
 
Job requirements
Have technical insight and think by yourself.
Have experience with operating machines.
Be available for 40 hours per week.
Be willing to have an in-person job interview.
Be willing to make overtime when needed (paid 125-200%).
English level B1.
Interpret and understand technical drawings.
Have a positive attitude.
Have a self-managing character.
S3 safety shoes are required on the job.
