Introduction
Starting salary between €16.00 – 17.94 gross/ hour, depending on experience. Along the way, while working at this company, you could end up earning up to €23.43 gross/ hour as per company's salary scale for the milling operator role. Salary range: 14.5-18.5 euro netto per hour.

What are you going to do?
As a milling operator you have varied and precise work, playing a crucial role in the mission to produce offshore foundations for wind turbines, thereby making the energy transition a reality. The company is one of the largest manufacturers of steel tubes (up to 1,000 tons) for offshore wind turbines. Within our close-knit and dedicated team, you can make a difference. What will you do?As a milling operator you work with milling machines specially designed for the company.
You are responsible for the machining of massive plates of approximately 42 tons and 27 meters long.
You input programs into the automatic milling machine for the pre-processing of the plates. Since they work with such unique machines, you will always receive training.
You work with a diverse team of various nationalities in a large hall.
You collaborate with other operators, maintenance technicians and quality controllers to ensure that the foundations meet the highest standards.
Good preparation is half the battle. Therefore, you receive a daily schedule, drawings, and work instructions. You check the dimensions and damages of the hulls to be processed. You also perform daily maintenance on the milling machine. It is very precise work. You monitor the process closely, conduct quality controls, and are the first person to solve any problems that may arise.
What are the working hours?
You will work in a three shift system: 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00 / 22:00 - 06:00.
25 vacation days per year, plus 1 week more during winter holidays.
No rotation possible, but it is generally accepted to have a break every 2-3 months to visit your home country.
Who are you?
You have:A VCA Basic certificate in Dutch or English. If you don`t have one, the company can organize for you to take the exam.
Level B1-B2 of the English language.
You have 1-2 years relevant experience in the field, such as in metalworking, technical manufacturing and production (example: CNC operation/ setting/ programming/ troubleshooting).
You have mechanical skills obtained through relevant education or on the job experience, such as the ability to operate, maintain, and repair machines and tools.
You must have basic mathematical skills and ability to read blueprints, schematics.
You are proficient with using hand cutting tools and understand tolerances.
A driving licence B category.
Precision and attention to detail, necessary for monitoring the quality and quantity of products produced, as well as detecting and correcting any errors or defects.
Willingness to work in 3-shift system.
Willingness to follow a paid training period before starting work.
Willingness to perform a game-based assessment test during recruitment process, to assess your learning ability, cognitive flexibility and problem solving abilities (online). If you enjoy playing games on your phone, you will find this test just as fun and easy.

What do you get?
An excellent salary based on your experience, this means:Junior (1-3 years of experience): starting at €16.00 gross/hour.
This translates into an average NETT income of 606.59 euros/ week (after adding allowances and after paying taxes, rent, insurance etc).
Medior (3-5 years of experience): starting at € 16.,29 gross/hour
This translates into an average NETT income of 616.47 euros/ week (after adding allowances and after paying taxes, rent, insurance etc).
Senior (6+ years of experience): starting at € 17.31 gross/hour.
This translates into an average NETT income of 651.39 euros/ week (after adding allowances and after paying taxes, rent, insurance etc).
Salaries are renegotiated every year and based on performance, the amount can increase significantly. In addition, you get:
