We are looking for a skilled Sandblaster to join our team. The Sandblaster will be responsible for cleaning, preparing, and finishing surfaces by using abrasive blasting equipment. This role is essential for ensuring high-quality surface preparation on metal, wood, and other materials before painting, coating, or further processing.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces.
Remove rust, paint, grease, scale, dirt, and other contaminants.
Apply abrasive materials such as sand, steel grit, glass beads, or shot.
Inspect finished surfaces to ensure they meet quality standards.
Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on blasting equipment.
Follow strict safety protocols and wear protective equipment (respirators, suits, gloves).
Keep work area clean and organized.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines.
 
Requirements:
Previous experience as a sandblaster or in surface preparation is preferred.
Knowledge of different blasting techniques and materials.
Ability to read and understand job specifications.
Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
Good physical stamina and ability to work in protective gear for extended periods.
Basic English communication skills (reading and speaking).
Willingness to follow all safety regulations and company procedures.
 
Nice to Have:
Experience in industrial or construction environments.
Driving licence (B category).
Knowledge of coating or painting processes.
