Job Description: Pipe Insulator – Refinery Operations

Key Responsibilities:

- Measure, cut, and install insulation materials (e.g., fiberglass, mineral wool, foam) on pipes, valves, and equipment to maintain temperature control and energy efficiency.
- Apply protective jacketing (aluminum, PVC, or stainless steel) to shield insulation from weather, chemicals, and mechanical damage.
- Inspect and repair damaged or worn insulation to prevent heat loss, corrosion, and safety hazards.
- Ensure compliance with refinery safety standards and proper handling of materials.
- Work in confined spaces, at heights, and around high-temperature piping systems.
- Collaborate with pipefitters, welders, and maintenance teams to complete installations efficiently.

Requirements:

- Experience in industrial insulation (refinery/petrochemical preferred).
- Ability to read technical drawings and work in physically demanding conditions.
- Knowledge of insulation materials, safety protocols, and corrosion prevention.
